Today, we're going to take a look at the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches. This is a custom fit part. This is designed to fit the Dodge Ram 1500 trucks starting in the year 2009. On any custom fit part, I would like to always recommend to go to our web site, use our fit guide. Put in you year and model vehicle. It'll show you if this will work for your application. These are vehicle-specific brackets that are designed to mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame.
The hub minimize drilling and measuring so it cuts your installation time in half when compared to the universal bracket systems. These custom brackets will mount beneath your truck bed to provide attachment points for the 5th wheel rails. The base rails are required. We do sell those separately. They are part number RP58058.
They are designed to sit in the truck bed and allow installation of the 5th wheel trailer hitch. This kit here will include the custom brackets, the hardware and a nice set of detailed instructions. easy to install as per the instructions,
Fit good and very heavy duty
Instructions not clear enough/descriptive. Took 4 hours for my mechanic to install. would have been much simpler to loosen and lift box instead of taking everything apart as per instructions. Product seems good will know how it works after hitching up trailer.
It came in short the spacers for the truck bed
